Steven Matthew Grbavac, age 47, of Kirtland, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, August 24, 2021. He was born in Willoughby, Ohio on December 2, 1973.

Steven was a loving husband, father, son, brother, cousin and friend who will be deeply missed by many. He leaves behind his wife of 21 years, Ruzica Grbavac (nee Bosnjak); father of Matthew, Anna, and Isabella; son of Tony (Loreta) Grbavac; brother of Kristine Grbavac; son-in-law of Coza and Branka Bosnjak; brother-in-law of Ivica Bosnjak; nephew of Joseph Pauer; cousin and friend of many.

He was preceded in death by his loving Mother, Anne Grbavac (Pauer), maternal grandparents Katrina (Sterl) and John Pauer, and paternal grandparents Anka (Juric) and Mate Grbavac.

Steven enjoyed dinners out, a day at the beach, and traveling especially to his homeland of Croatia. Steven and Ruzica enjoyed many wonderful vacations, cruises, and trips to water parks with their kids. He shared many laughs with family and friends through the years, with whom he shares many inside jokes and memories that will always be a part of how Steven is remembered. Special moments with his children always produced that smile we will always remember, as he enjoyed playing video games with Matthew and Uno with Anna, and sharing his passion for soccer with Isabella.

Visitation will be held at Divine Word Church, 8100 Eagle Road in Kirtland on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 10:30am- 12:00pm, followed by a funeral mass at noon. Private internment for immediate family at All Souls Cemetery at a later date.
