  5. This man was a hero. A caring, selfless, compassionate man and brother in arms. He cared deeply for his sisters and their children and was a kind and giving soul to those he loved. He would want his family to be strong as hard as it may be. That’s the kind of guy he was. I’ll cherish the memory of Rick and I am a better man having known him. Godspeed brother HUAH

  7. Richard was always a superhero in my eyes, one of the most selfless, loving, goofy, nerdy, handsome men I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. Let alone being lucky to have shared many firsts with. My heart is in pieces, I’ll miss you more than you know. The world is a little less bright without you here, love. Thank you for loving me unconditionally and for always being there for me. I love you forever, I miss you already. I pray you’re free from any pain, Rest easy solider ❤️
