Phyllis N. Mottoss (nee Lombard), age 93 of Mentor, passed away January 10th, 2022 at LakeWest Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born September 8th, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late James and Christine Lombard.

Phyllis retired from Volvo Group and Big Lots. She loved spending time with her family and friends and the annual trip to Fort Myers Beach in Florida.

Phyllis is the loving wife of the late George Mottoss; beloved mother of Debbie and Sandy Mottoss; bonus mom of Karen (Daryl) Thomas and Mike (Kathy) Jelenic; bonus grandmother of Brian (Erin) Thomas, Amanda (Andy) Linden, Craig (Danielle) Thomas, Melissa (Jason) Pokorny, Erin (Steve) Jelenic and Michael (Maire) Jelenic; bonus great grandmother of Colton, Charlie, Sawyer, Caden, Maximus, Sophia, Lincoln, Remy, Gunnar and Karter; cherished sister of Gerald (Kathy-deceased) Lombard and the late Tony (Helen) Lombard, Louise (Joe) Credico, Mary (Joe) Iacobacci, Helen (Joe) Criniti, Cynthia (Vince) Petro and Rita (Chuck) Jelenic; aunt to many.

The Mottoss family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday, January 13th, 2022 at McMahon Coyne Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center Street, Mentor. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM Friday at St. Mary of The Assumption Church, 8560 Mentor Ave., Mentor. There will be a visitation at the church from 10:00 – 10:30 AM before the mass. A private burial will be held at All Souls Cemetery at a later date.

Arrangement have been entrusted to Jeff Monreal of Jeff Monreal Funeral Home.
