Mildred “Millie” M. Brooks (nee Markiewicz), age 82 of Willowick passed away August 7th, 2016 at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby.
Millie enjoyed babysitting the neighborhood children, crocheting, plastic canvasing and polka dancing. She was a parishioner at St. Mary Magdalene Church.
She is survived by her nieces: Bonnie Leininger (nee Markiewicz), Susie (nee Markiewicz) (Tommy) Bon Tempo; nephew: Michael Markiewicz; cousin: Frank Gronowski; many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Mary Markiewicz; aunt: Irene Stankiewicz; brother Raymond (Joann) Markiewicz; nephew: Bob Markiewicz.
Funeral Mass will be held 11 AM Saturday, August 13th at St. Mary Magdalene Church, 460 East 321st Street, Willowick. Visitation 10-11 AM Saturday at the church. Burial at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.
