Mary Lee Culotta (nee Pistone), age 78, formerly of Mayfield and Grace Woods in Willoughby, passed away August 27, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 11, 1940 in Cleveland to the late Carl and Rose Pistone.

Mary Lee retired from Mayfield City Schools as the transportation supervisor.

She is the loving mother of Vincent (Susan) Culotta, Vicki (Vytas) Apanavicius and Michael (Lynette) Culotta; beloved grandmother of Gabrielle and Victoria Culotta, Vaiva, Sara and Amanda Apanavicius, Ryan, Jessica and Scott Culotta; dearest sister of Phyllis Willis; aunt and cousin of many.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM Saturday, September 1, 2018 at St. Bede the Venerable, 9114 Lakeshore Blvd., Mentor. Visitation 4-8 PM Friday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, which is located on the grounds of Jeff Monreal Funeral Home.

Burial at Knollwood Cemetery in Mayfield Hts.

    I’m so sorry to hear this. Mary Lee was my boss during the week but a poker buddy on the weekends, we even went to Las Vegas together. We shared a lot of laughs and fun together.
    Mary Lee will be missed by all that knew her, heaven gained another angel.

    Mary Lee was an amazing person with a huge heart. I have so many wonderful memories of our childhood. She was the coolest teenager ever with an amazing personality.
