Kathleen Sorge (nee Kostelic), age 72 of Timberlake, passed away January 3rd, 2020 at Geauga Medical Center. She was born May 10th, 1948 in Cleveland to the late Rudolph and Olga Kostelic.

Kathy was known by all as a kindhearted, loving and caring person. She had a gift for listening, comforting and supporting those that confided in her. She always had a smile on her face even when faced with life’s adversities. She will be missed by many especially her children and grandchildren.

Kathy formerly worked at Swagelok for many years, but was primarily a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, art and listening to music.

Kathy is the loving wife for 49 years to the late Thomas Kenneth Sorge; dearest mother of Thomas Jr. (Maria) Sorge, Christopher Sorge and Kimberly (Brian) Yonosik; grandmother of Kaitlin and Colin Sorge, Gavin, Sophia and Mackenzie Yonosik; sister of Deanna Bomback and Sandra (James) Carlson; aunt and cousin of many.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all services will be private. Burial at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.

A celebration of Kathy’s life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jeff Monreal Funeral Services.
