Donna J. Swoope, age 58 of Painesville, Ohio peacefully passed away on February 9, 2022 at home with her family by her side. She was born September 14, 1963 in Greenville, PA. to Priscilla E. (nee Holzaphel) Deeter and Robert C. Eakin.

Donna was an accountant. She enjoyed traveling but her greatest accomplishment was being a mother to her two sons and spending time with her family.

Donna is the loving mother to Ryan Swoope and Randy Swoope; sister of Nancy (Dennis) Wilson, Laura (Gene) Shippy, Tracy Warren and the late Gale Burnette III; adopted daughter of the late Gale Burnett Jr.; stepdaughter of the late Mason Deeter; aunt and great aunt of many.

There will be no services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 1000 Mentor Ave., Painesville OH 44070.

    Donna was my niece but also my Goddaughter. She will be missed at family functions but she will remain in my heart. The things she made will be cherished.
