Dear Lisa, Carrie,Mr.&Mrs. O’Brien, and Olivia, I was very saddened to read about Darren’s fight with cancer. I remember him in fifth grade as being a very caring and fun-loving young man. I grieve with all of you at the loss of someone so special. My only regret is that my husband and I can’t sing at the funeral due to the pandemic. Our voices will be there in spirit and our prayers will be with you.

My heart goes out to you all.
The first day I picked Olivia up for school
Darren knew who I was and immediately introduced himself, from that day on are conversations where awesome and the love he shared about his family and the surprises he had in mind for them where precious… I’m going to miss dropping Olivia off seeing Darren standing there arms wide open and Olivia dropping her book bag running around him laughing, he just shook his head, picked up the book bag and ran after her… I’m going miss seeing him smile and wave to us every morning..
My heart hurts for you, but know the love that man had for his family was extraordinary.
    I love you O’Brien family..

I remember our happy talks while you were pregnant with Olivia. The joy even speaking about Darren & a new addition was palatable!
And so I am bereft! Hold your special love forever in your heart. There is no doubt that Olivia brings you goodness & love. You & your entire family are in my thoughts and prayers!
