Carol A. Burnette (nee Bambic), age 63, passed away August 8th, 2019 at LakeWest Medical Center in Willoughby surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 19, 1955 in Euclid to the late Frank and Phyllis Bambic. She grew up in Wickliffe and was a resident of Lake County all of her life.
Carol enjoyed crossword puzzles and scrabble. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Carol is the loving mother of Rachel Wenderoth, JJ (Tammy) Burnette and the late Mark “Buck” Burnette; beloved grandmother of Mary Jane and Evan Burnette, Jett and Jase Wenderoth, Lincoln and Layla Burnette; mother in law of Jennifer Burnette; sister of Barb (Craig) Caraffi, Gail Smilanich and Sharon (Mark) Bralley; sister in law of the late Dan Smilanich; aunt of Josh (Catherine) Smilanich.
The Burnette family will receive friends from 3:30 – 6:30 PM Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (which is located on the grounds of McMahon Coyne Vitantonio Funeral Home). A memorial service will be held at 6:30 PM Tuesday at The Abbey of Willoughby.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Jeff Monreal Funeral Home.

My sweet sis… you are now an angel in heaven with Buck. I am going to miss you terribly and hope that gets easier. You are resting in peace now which is good as you struggled so much with life at times. our bond will never be broke. I have good memories to live by. And you are forever in my heart. Carol has been a very close friend of mine for 50 plus years , I will miss her very much, she will be in my heart the rest of my life!!! Love you my dear friend , you will never be forgotten !!! . Her family are in my prayers , I am so sorry for your loss

Carol was always so proud of her children and grandchildren for very good reasons. She and her kids have stuck together despite some tremendous hardships. Always stand and stay together.

better place up there but there really is a big hole down here. Although I carry both you and Buck in my heart forever some days are hard when I long to just see you and give you both big hugs!!!
