To the entire Walbeck family- I love you all, as an extension of my own family. Last summer, I would sit on the back step of the home I grew up in next door to you. I would look over, and I’d see Brian sitting on the bench, same as me. We’d know each other was there, but a lot of the time we didn’t talk… We’d both be lost in memories, and more than words, for me, it was a great comfort just to know he was there. Hours would go by, song after song on the radio, same as it has always been…and those days of that summer, I needed to remember the simple beauty of this. I am so so sad for this loss, I am going to miss him so much… The last time we spoke he said “I love you Beth Ann, I am always here for you.” If there is one comfort I have in this, it is that he is with Edward and my dad, and I know how much he has missed his dad… as he knew how much I miss mine. Please know, you are all on my mind, and I am so so sorry for your pain. ♥

Little B was a good guy. I remember having conversations with him around the body bag in the garage, we talked about boxing, martial arts, and raising respectful kids, after his boys were hitting their young teens. I enjoyed the times we talked, and I wish I had seen him again recently. My prayers are for Mrs. W, and the whole crew.
