Richard P. Stevens, age 78 of Eastlake, passed away November 2, 2021 at Hillcrest Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born August 11, 1943 in Cleveland to the late Frank and Helen Ann Stevens.

Rich was a retired school bus driver for the Willoughby Eastlake School System.

Rich is the loving husband for 58 years of Rosemary Stevens (nee Storer); dearest father of Renee M. (Harry) Slocum, Karen L. Stevens and Richard T. Stevens; dearest grandfather of Jessica (Michael) Elliott, Rebecca Slocum, Nicole (John Riddle) Pescho, Alexxander (Susie Weber) Pescho and Coltin Haines; great grandfather of Raelyn Elliott and Kynzleigh Stevens Pescho; brother of Delores Musser; brother in law of Gail Stevens, Rita Chadwick and MaryAnn Storer; uncle of many.

Rich was preceded in death by his mother in law Rosena (James) Lages; brothers Jack Stevens and Mike Stevens; brother in laws Del Musser and Albert Storer.

The Stevens family will receive friends from 2:00 – 6:00 PM Sunday, November 7th, 2021 at The Abbey, 38011 Euclid Ave., Willoughby (which is located on the grounds of McMahon Coyne Vitantonio Funeral Home). A Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM at The Abbey. Burial at Knollwood Cemetery in Mayfield Hts.

Donations can be made in Rich’s name to American Cancer Society, 10501 Euclid Ave., Cleveland 44106 or to American Heart Association, 1375 East 9th #600, Cleveland 44114.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jeff Monreal of Jeff Monreal Funeral Home.
