SERVICE FOR

Jeffrey L. Stevens

07/13/1955 — 07/22/2022

Mr. Jeffrey L. Stevens, age 67 of Eastlake, passed away resting in his chair at home on July 22nd, 2022, later pronounced at University Hospital-LakeWest Medical Center. He was born July 13th, 1955 in Cleveland to the late Joseph and Julia Stevens.

Jeff was the creator and owner of the Rust Terminator and former owner and founder of Stevens Auto Glaze & Security in Eastlake and Steven Car Care Products. His businesses sponsored community programs related to Veterans, and many youth sports programs.

Jeff was an avid musician, often rocking out all night with his friends (aka band named “The Morons”) on many weekends in his home. His friends, also camping buddies, spent many years “fish-busting” and “Taking the edge off,” out in the wilderness of northeastern Ohio.

Jeff’s brother, John Stevens, proceeded his passing. Jeff and John were connected at the soul, and maintained a brotherly love for one another that was immeasurable. Both looked up to their older brother Jimmy as children, who proceeded both Jeff and John’s passing.

Jeff was the loving husband of the late Joyce Stevens (nee Ellin). Jeff and Joyce enjoyed spending time together “palling around,” exploring the flea markets in Florida, watching sunsets at the Willowick Lakefront Park, and sitting on their porch in Florida watching the waves crash on the beach. Jeff and Joyce spent over 40 years in love and marriage. Jeff and Joyce were looking forward to spending their days and nights enjoying the beaches of Florida and walking Zane pup along the shoreline. Jeff was the proud father of Kevin J. Stevens (His buddy, amigo, pal, groover). Jeff was amazed and impressed by Kevin’s travels, stories, and accomplishments.

Jeff cherished his many brothers/sisters-in-law and friends; was the uncle and cousin of many; and treasured his time with beloved dogs Zane “Woo-Whoo,” Bruno “Brun’ski,” Jaeger and Lucky. Jeff mentored, supported, and went out of his way to help anyone that he could. Right before his passing, Jeff shared life with his companion Robin Rasile.
