Shawn William Hartegan, age 29 of Mentor, passed away November 7th, 2020. He was born May 18th, 1991 to the proud parents of Kevin and Colleen Hartegan.
Shawn started his career working with his dad at Mentor Roofing. He was currently working as a welder at Crombie Industrial Services.
Shawn was a devoted father who loved spending time with his son. He enjoyed kayaking and was a huge sports fan, especially the Cleveland Browns. He was very proud of his Irish Heritage.
Shawn is the loving son of Kevin and Colleen (nee McDonnell) Hartegan; devoted father of Connor James Hartegan; cherished grandson of Eileen (Terry-deceased) McDonnell, Helen and John William Hartegan; nephew of Terry (Jim Dunn) Barko, Donald McDonnell, Jackie (Jerry) Huntington, Terry (Lindsey) McDonnell, Tim (Amanda) McDonnell, Greg (Joyce) Hartegan and Joy (Ted) Nemetz; beloved cousin of many; boyfriend of Natalie Rositani; mother of their son, Ashlee Dunston.
The Hartegan family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM Thursday, November 12th, 2020 at McMahon Coyne Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center Street, Mentor. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 8:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
