William A. Simpson, age 82 of Kirtland, passed away June 3, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 12, 1935 in Cleveland to the late Cameron and Elizabeth Simpson.
Bill is the loving husband of the late Joanne M. Simpson (nee Germano); dearest father of William A. (Deborah), Andrea M. (Donald) Evans, Robert A. (Teri) and Daniel T.; beloved grandfather of William A. III, Marissa (Jon Wilkie – fiancé), Kaitlyn, Rebecca and Marjorie Simpson, Ashley (Joe) Branco, Alan (Taylor Rush – fiancée) Morganti Jr., A.J. Morganti, Mack and Cameron Simpson; great grandfather of Jaxon Branco; brother of Jean Simpson and the late David Simpson and Kathryn DeNoewer.
Through the years, Bill owned many local businesses in both the Kirtland and Willoughby communities.
Memorial Mass will be held at 11 AM Friday, June 9, 2017 at Immaculate Conception, 37932 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Visitation will be held in the chapel of the church from 10 -11 AM.
Entombment will be private.
