Richard M. Gamber, age 80 of Eastlake, formerly of East Cleveland, passed away December 29, 2018 at LakeWest Medical Center. Rich was born October 13, 1938 in Rossiter, PA to the late Barbara and Louis Gamber.

Rich was a former police sergeant for the Mantua Police Department and he retired from GE as security officer.

He is the father of Tracy Gamber and Richard J. Gamber; grandfather of Dylan Gamber; brother of Theresa Gamber, Katherine Rosa and the late Rachel Massaro, Sam, Helen Wood, Jimmy, Tony, Mary Lee and John; brother in law of Sherry, Terry, Mary, and Diane Gamber; uncle and cousin of many.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 PM Sunday, January 6, 2019 at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave., which is located on the grounds of McMahon Coyne Vitantonio Funeral Home.

A memorial service will held at 4 PM Sunday at The Abbey of Willoughby.

Donations can be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 East 185th Street, Cleveland, OH 44119.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jeff Monreal Funeral Services.
