Richard J. Ingraham, age 80, of Painesville and formerly of Eastlake, passed away September 4th, 2020 at Grand River Health & Rehabilitation. He was born May 26th, 1940 in Oneonta, New York to the late Clarence and Leona Ingraham.

Richard was a retired salesman from Sears Company where he worked for over 26 years.

Richard was a U.S. Marine Corp Veteran and was a paratrooper with over 40 jumps and was in reconnaissance. He was the lead singer of the band “Tones” in 1957 and he appeared on The American Band Stand. He also was a Semi Pro baseball player in New York. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and spending time with his family.

He is the loving husband for 58 years to Janet L. Ingraham (nee Adams); dearest father of David A. (Tracy) Ingraham and Ronald W. Ingraham; beloved grandfather of Ashley (Matt) Williams, Leighann (Carson) Thomas, Alexander McLeod, Connor (Kaylia) McLeod, Madison McLeod, Cameron and Mikayla Ingraham; great grandfather of Miles Williams and the late Liam McLeod; brother of Jim Ingraham.

The Ingraham family would receive family and friends on Friday, September 11th, 2020 from 10:00-10:30 AM at St. Bede The Venerable, 9114 Lakeshore Blvd., Mentor. Memorial Mass to follow at 10:30 AM Friday at the church. Burial at Riverside Cemetery in Painesville.
