Emerson “Dean” Jones, age 90 of Mentor, passed away October 17, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 30, 1927 in Cameron, Ohio to the late Lynn and Susie Jones.
Dean was a U.S. WW II Army Veteran. He retired from TRW valve division. Was a Member of the Marine Corps League and the VFW Post #2595.
He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Jones (nee Bosco); children, Larry (Linda), Kenneth (Joanne), Linda Oravetz, Jeffrey (Maria) Ratino, Debbie (Jim) Valtman and Linda (Tony) Hunter; many grandchildren and many great grandchildren; brother, Gary (Beverly); sister in law, Rosemary Jones; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his siblings, Floyd, Violet, Norma, Gerald, Shirley, Janice and Richard.
Memorial Services 6:30 PM Friday, October 20, 2017 at Jeff Monreal Funeral Home, 6330 Center Street, Mentor. Visitation 3:00-6:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
